This dark room got a full wall of polished black stone-look tile, finished with a vertical wood slat panel at the end. The tile is set from the bottom up on a straight wood ledger, so the first row is perfectly level and every row above it follows.

In this loft, white slats of different lengths were laid out like a sound wave across the wall. Each piece is cut, placed to a planned layout and painted to match the wall, so it reads as part of the building.
