How much does a handyman cost in Atlanta?
Handyman work is priced one of two ways: a fixed quote for the job, or a flat-rate Honey-Do Day where you book the time and fill it with your list.
- Half day: $350 for 4 hours, one person
- Full day: $600 for 8 hours, one person
- Bigger than a day: quoted as a project, with the price agreed before any work begins
Estimates are free, there is no deposit, and the price is agreed before any work starts.
Handyman jobs only: small fixes, adjustments and installs like mounting a TV, fixing a sticky door, hanging shelves and furniture assembly. These rates are for one person working alone. If the job needs more than one person, the price will change.
How does flat-rate handyman pricing work?
With a flat rate, you book a block of time, not a meter. A Honey-Do Day is one person for 4 or 8 hours at a set price, and you fill it with your list in the order that matters to you. You know the cost of the visit before Ramzi arrives, and the time doesn’t start over for every small job.
- You send the list with photos
- Ramzi tells you whether it fits a half day or a full day
- The visit price is agreed before any work begins
- Materials are picked up by Ramzi and listed on your invoice
Every price depends on the job and can change once Ramzi sees it. Text Ramzi a few photos for the final price, agreed before any work starts. Estimates are free.

Can I get handyman prices by the job?
Yes. A single job with a clear scope, like one door or a run of deck boards, can be quoted as a fixed price for that job instead. Send photos and you’ll get a price for it, agreed before any work begins. When several small jobs are on the list, a Honey-Do Day is usually the better value.
What is a handyman’s hourly rate?
Worked out by the hour, a half day comes to $87.50 an hour and a full day to $75 an hour. The longer booking is the better value, which is why most people save up a list instead of calling for each small repair.
These rates are for handyman work done by one person working alone. If a job needs a second pair of hands, like a heavy exterior door, it’s priced separately.
What changes the price of a handyman job
- Prep and finishing: a drywall patch has to be filled, sanded and painted before it disappears
- One person or two: heavy or awkward jobs need help
- Materials, which Ramzi picks up and lists on your invoice
- Trips: one visit for the whole list costs less than one visit per job
What can a handyman do in one day?
A half or full day is enough for a real dent in most lists. Common jobs that fit in one visit:
- Drywall repair and paint touch-ups
- TV mounting, shelves, mirrors and curtain rods
- Grab bars and stair handrails
- Smart doorbell and thermostat swaps
- Sticky doors, trim and baseboards
- Cabinet adjustment and new hardware
- Caulking and grout refresh in kitchens and bathrooms
- Furniture assembly
- Deck board, railing and step repairs
- Gutter cleaning and small fence or gate repairs
How to save money on handyman services
Put everything into one list. The drywall dings, the loose railing and the shelves that still need hanging all fit into the same day, and you pay for one trip instead of three.
Text three photos of each job first. You’ll get a price the same day, and Ramzi arrives with the right materials instead of running to the store halfway through.
Put the most important jobs first. If time runs short, the ones that matter are already done.
What a handyman can’t do
Swapping an existing fixture on the wires or pipes already there, like a faucet, toilet, garbage disposal, light fixture or ceiling fan, is on the list. New wiring, new plumbing lines, structural work, roofing and windows need a licensed trade. If anything on your list falls into that group, Ramzi will tell you upfront, before anything is quoted.
