Step 1: cement board and a sloped floor
Shower walls get cement board, not drywall, because it doesn’t break down with water. The shower floor is built with a slope toward the drain, so water never sits in the corners. Both are waterproofed before any tile goes on.

Step 2: setting the tile
Large tiles are cut on site and set with leveling clips, so every edge sits flush with the next. The niche for shampoo is planned with the layout, so it lines up with the tile joints instead of cutting through them.

Bathroom floors
The floor gets the same care: a flat base, a planned layout and straight joints from the door to the tub.

How much does shower tile installation cost in Atlanta?
It depends on the shower size, the tile (large-format and mosaics take more time), niches and benches, and whether the old shower has to be torn out first. Send a few photos and the rough size, and you’ll get a price agreed before any work begins. Estimates are free.
