Video doorbell installation
A wired video doorbell takes the place of your old doorbell button and runs on the doorbell wiring that’s already there. Some models need a small adapter at the chime inside so the old chime still rings; Ramzi checks this before the visit from a photo of your chime.
Battery doorbells don’t need wiring at all. They still need to be mounted level, at the right height and angle so the camera sees faces, not the porch ceiling.
Smart thermostat installation
The old thermostat comes off, every wire is labeled and photographed, and the new one goes on the same wires. Then it’s set up on your Wi-Fi and your phone, and the heat and cooling are both tested before Ramzi leaves.
Many smart thermostats need a “C-wire” for constant power. If your system doesn’t have one, an adapter may be needed. If anything inside the furnace or air handler has to change, that’s a job for an HVAC technician, and Ramzi tells you upfront.
Will it work in my home?
Send two photos: one of the old thermostat or doorbell, and one with its cover off showing the wires. That is usually enough to tell you if the new device will work and what, if anything, it needs.
What isn’t included
New wiring is a licensed electrician’s job. If your home has no doorbell wiring and you want a wired doorbell, or the thermostat needs new wire run, Ramzi will tell you before anything is quoted.
How much does smart doorbell and thermostat installation cost in Atlanta?
It depends on the device, whether an adapter is needed and how many devices go in the same visit.
Small jobs like this usually fit inside a Honey-Do Day: $350 for a half day (4 hours) or $600 for a full day (8 hours), and the rest of your list can go in the same visit.
