Why does my gate sag?
A wood gate is heavy, and over time it pulls on its hinges and its post. The fix depends on what moved: loose hinge screws get longer screws or new hinges, a racked gate gets an anti-sag kit or a diagonal brace, and a leaning hinge post gets reset.
Gate latch won’t catch?
When a gate sags or the post leans, the latch stops lining up. Once the gate hangs straight again, the latch is moved or replaced so it closes on its own, which matters if the gate keeps a dog or children in the yard.
Fence repairs
- Broken or missing pickets and boards replaced
- Loose rails refastened
- Leaning wood posts reset or replaced
- Storm damage cleaned up and rebuilt section by section
- New hinges, latches and gate hardware
Repair or replace the fence?
If the problem is a few boards, a gate or one or two posts, repair is the better value. If most posts are rotten at the ground, a section-by-section repair stops making sense, and Ramzi will tell you that before anything is quoted.
How much does fence and gate repair cost in Atlanta?
It depends on how many boards or posts, whether a post needs new concrete, and the hardware.
Small jobs like this usually fit inside a Honey-Do Day: $350 for a half day (4 hours) or $600 for a full day (8 hours), and the rest of your list can go in the same visit.
Every price depends on the job and can change once Ramzi sees it. Text Ramzi a few photos for the final price, agreed before any work starts. Estimates are free.
Handyman jobs only: small fixes, adjustments and installs like mounting a TV, fixing a sticky door, hanging shelves and furniture assembly. These rates are for one person working alone. If the job needs more than one person, the price will change.
